Lebanon set to receive fuel from Iran in the coming days, Hezbollah leader says

HEZBOLLAH leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Sunday that he was prepared to start importing fuel from Iran to ease the impact of Lebanon’s economic crisis, while condemning those who hoard and smuggle oil to Syria as “traitors.”

In a televised address the Shi’ite leader said that plans were under way to receive the oil, with the timeline to be announced “in two or three days.

“We will definitely bring petrol and diesel from Iran. Things cannot continue like this,” he vowed.
