KURDISH forces warned today of a “special war centre” with units in the Turkish intelligence services and the neofascist Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) tasked with carrying out attacks on Kurds.
The Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) — an umbrella organisation of Kurdish groups including the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) — called on communities to organise in self defence after a spate of attacks in various cities that have seen at least one person killed.
The Kurdish organisation accused President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government of “commissioning” attacks on Kurds as part of a genocidal policy that is also targeting the country’s democratic institutions.
