TRAIN drivers’ union Aslef has agreed a two-year pay deal with ScotRail.

The agreement will mean no return to last year’s dispute with the Scottish government-owned operator, which rumbled on until September.

Service delivery director Mark Ilderton said Scotrail was “very pleased to have reached agreement” with Aslef, adding: “This deal will allow everyone to focus on delivering a safe, reliable and green railway for our customers.”
