Disgraced Rossello expected to quit

DISGRACED Puerto Rican governor Ricardo Rossello was expected to resign yesterday after the Morning Star went to publication.

Mr Rossello recorded a farewell message earlier on which was to be released in the afternoon at local time, according to the island’s largest newspaper El Nuevo Dia.

On Tuesday night, the newspaper reported: “It was mentioned that at this time, Rossello would be replaced by the Secretary of Justice, Wanda Vazquez, this in the absence of someone in the position of secretary of state.”
