SYRIAN armed forces killed at least six suspected jihadists in the southern city of Daraa on Sunday, with the military saying it was losing patience with the presence of armed terror groups there.

The region, which is close to the country’s border with Jordan, has been the scene of clashes in the past few months, with forces allied to al-Qaida holding parts of the city hostage.

Last week busloads of militia were transported from Daraa to Syria’s northern Idlib province, which remains under the control of Turkish-backed jihadist militia.
