UNIONS in Norway vowed yesterday to take action against Tesla in solidarity with their Swedish counterparts, who are demanding that the Texas-based car-maker sign a collective bargaining agreement.
United Federation of Trade Unions head Jorn Eggum warned that if Tesla failed to accept the demand from Swedish metalworkers’ union IF Metall by December 20, “we will proceed with the implementation of boycott actions.”
The 170,000-strong federation organises, among others, employees in car repair workshops.
