TODMORROW two community Gaelic football teams plan to come together to make a powerful show of solidarity with Palestine before their keenly anticipated cup final.
The delayed 2023 Scottish Intermediate final of traditional Irish sport Gaelic football will be contested between fierce rivals Dalriada CLG of Aberdeen/Dundee and Tir Chonaill Harps of Glasgow. Both clubs are constituted primarily of recent immigrants and members of the Irish diaspora.
The squads will be putting sporting ambition and antagonisms aside however to add their voices to the ever-growing list of community organisations speaking out against the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
