WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Sam Ashby top-scored with 25 points as Oaklands Wolves maintained their 100 per cent record with a 108-41 thumping of Cardiff Met. The Wolves are now joint top of the Super League with Sheffield who were not in action in the latest round of fixtures. Kat Tudor netted 24 points as Caledonia eased to a 99-32 win at rock-bottom London, Newcastle beat Essex 83-71 and Leicester held off Manchester 73-70.

WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: The final round of group matches kick off in the Champions League tomorrow evening with Real Madrid hosting Chelsea to decide who will finish top of Group B while Celtic look for their first points of the competition when they visit Twente Enschede. In Group A unbeaten Lyon face a Wolfsburg team who are also almost guaranteed a quarter-finals spot and Roma take on winless Galatasary.

MEN’S ICE HOCKEY: Despite their continued inconsistent form, Cardiff still top the Elite League by six points after losing at home to Manchester and then winning 5-2 at Dundee. Belfast beat defending champions Sheffield 3-0 to move second with three games in hand while Coventry, who have also played three games fewer than Cardiff, are a point further back in third following 7-1 wins over Dundee and bottom club Fife.
