Your paper needs you!
CALVIN TUCKER gives an update on our appeal to help the Star survive the corona crisis You’ve raised: £21,384 We need: £68,615 by the end of August

“WE need our paper,” said a Sheffield reader as she sent in her £300. And with over 21 grand in our postbag last month, it looks like her call to arms is being answered.

The local readers and supporters group in Shropshire sent £350 — the first installment of a £1,000 target to cover one day of the paper’s Covid-related loses.

£50 landed in our coffers from the North Clyde branch of RMT and more branches will be following suit, we’ve been told.
