HORSE RACING: 2023’s Champion hurdle winner Constitution Hill continues his new career on the flat in Kempton’s Group Three September Stakes on Saturday.

The three-time Christmas Hurdle champion has won both of his previous starts but has not raced since March.

He faces a much stronger field this time including former course winner Gethin, who finished fifth in the July’s Eclipse stakes, and Group Two Dante Stakes winner Pride of Arras.

WOMEN’S CRICKET: England are 2-0 up in their three-match one-day series against Ireland ahead of Sunday’s dead rubber at Worcester.

MEN’S CRICKET: Sussex medium-fast bowler Harry Crocombe claimed his second County Championship hat-trick in eight days on Thursday.

Crocombe ended up with 5-39 as Essex crumbled to 177 all out in their first innings at Chelmsford.

The Eastbourne-born paceman bagged 5-57 in last week’s drawn match at Somerset and is currently Sussex’s highest wicket taker this year. He is set to join Surrey at the end of the season.
