ICE HOCKEY: Nottingham Panthers have been confirmed as one of the 14 clubs competing in next season’s Continental Cup.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Seven-time Ligue One Champions Olympique Lyonnais will appeal against their relegation to the second tier of French football after they failed to meet the requirements set by its country’s football finance watchdog.
Lyon, who have appeared in the Champions League on seventeen occasions and reached the semi-finals in 2010 and 2020, announced debt levels of over €500 million (£425m) in autumn 2024.
