MEN’S FOOTBALL: Dundee United will officially seal the Scottish Championship title and return to the top tier just one season after relegation if they avoid defeat at Airdrieonians tonight.

With only two games left in the season United are already six points clear of second-placed Raith Rovers, who visit Greenock Morton on Saturday, with a vastly superior goal difference having racked up 18 clean sheets on their way to promotion.

MEN’S BASKETBALL: British Basketball’s play-offs begin today with the Caledonia Gladiators, who finished third in the regular season, taking on Newcastle in East Kilbride for the first leg of a best of three series.
