Venezuela strips Guaido of immunity from prosecution
The ruling means the unelected president of Venezuela’s defunct National Assembly could face charges for plotting regime change
Self-declared "interim president of Venezuela" Juan Guaido

VENEZUELAN usurper Juan Guaido has been stripped of immunity from prosecution, paving the way for charges to be brought against him for plotting regime change.

The Constituent Assembly backed a call made by Venezuela’s Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) on Monday urging action against Washington-backed Mr Guaido, who has been agitating for the overthrow of the democratically elected President Nicolas Maduro.

He faces potential charges after Caracas accused him of “inciting violence and engaging in an illicit financial activity.”
