Venezuela releases two US citizens as oil sanctions set to be eased

VENEZUELA released two jailed US citizens on Saturday following talks with a US delegation in the capital Caracas that may lead to an easing of oil sanctions.
Gustavo Cardenas, an executive with Citgo, a US refining company once controlled by Venezuela's state oil firm, was one of those freed.
Terror suspect Jorge Alberto Fernadez was also released. He had been charged with bringing a drone into the country from neighbouring Colombia.
