Plaid Cymru pledges ‘positive alternative’ to Labour and Tories in Wales
Leader of Plaid Cymru, Rhun ap Iorwerth during the launch of the party's General Election campaign at the Management Centre in Bangor, May 30, 2024

PLAID CYMRU presents a positive alternative to Labour and the Tories, Rhun ap Iorwerth said ahead of today’s election rally in Bangor.

The party leader vowed to take the fight for a “a fairer, more ambitious Wales” to the Tories and Labour in all parts of the country.

Mr ap Iorwerth added Plaid Cymru is the only one “putting the interests of Wales ahead of party interests” and is in pole position to dislodge the sitting Conservative MP in Ynys Mon (Anglesey).
