New movement launched in the US to oppose Trump

A MOVEMENT to oppose President Donald Trump’s administration was launched online today, with plans to protest across the United States.

The movement has organised under the hashtags #buildtheresistance and #50501, which stands for 50 protests, 50 states, one day.

It is also critical of Project 2025, a hard-right play book for US government and society, publishing flyers with messages such as “reject fascism” and “defend our democracy.”
