THE European Public Service Unions Federation (EPSU) issued a call for solidarity on Thursday ahead of the trial in Turkey next week of officials from the Health and Social Service Workers’ Union (SES).

The call by EPSU, which represents around eight million public service workers across Europe, comes ahead of the trial of members and executives of the SES, which is set to take place on October 2.

A statement from EPSU demanded that “the juridical authorities drop all the charges” and called for its affiliates to join them in showing solidarity with SES officials.
