RMT launches petition in its battle against the sacking of workers at US president Donald Trump's Scotland resort
US President Donald Trump takes a shot from the rough on his golf course at the Trump Turnberry resort in South Ayrshire

RMT has launched a global petition against the sacking of workers at US President Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf and hotel resort in Scotland.

The union is accusing the resort bosses of pocketing taxpayers’ money to furlough workers while planning to sack them.

RMT represents the Ayrshire resort’s workers and says that 80 jobs are at risk. Consultations on a brutal package of measures end on August 16.
