Dozens of refugees left on the streets by Home Office
A view of the scene outside the Comfort Inn hotel on Belgrave Road in Pimlico, central London, where the Home Office have reportedly asked a group of refugees to be accommodated four to a room

DOZENS of refugees have been left on the streets of London for two nights running after the Home Office failed to find “appropriate” accommodation.

Westminster City council leader Adam Hug has written to Home Secretary Suella Braverman expressing his “deep concern” that about 40 refugees were placed in the borough on Wednesday night “without appropriate accommodation or support available.”

The refugees had refused to enter the Pimlico hotel in protest at the conditions, and about now 20 remain on the street outside the hotel, supported by council rough sleeping teams.
