Labour ‘not shying away from dangerous ideas’

SCOTTISH Labour will no longer “shy away from dangerous ideas,” the leader of the party’s youth wing said in a rousing speech yesterday.

Scottish Young Labour chairman Liam Gleeson said he welcomed a wholesale shift in the politics of the party under the leadership of Richard Leonard.

“We want to work with the party but deserve to be taken seriously,” Mr Gleeson said. “We don’t want to return to the days where the leader’s office would shout down the phone at young members.
