A PILE of fake bloody foxes have been dumped in central London as animal welfare campaigners called on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to keep his promise and ban trail hunting.

Tuesday’s stunt pulled by the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) in Trafalgar Square saw activists stand on top of the 648 plush foxes, covered in imitation blood.

Each one represented a report received by the charity of a fox hunt since the summer of 2024.

This came as the Time for Change Coalition Against Hunting sent an open letter to the government, signed by 36,000 people in under a month, demanding Sir Keir finally ban the practice.

Last year, a previous petition was signed by more than 100,000 people calling for stricter hunting laws.

LACS chief executive Emma Slawinski asked Sir Keir to “urgently” launch a consultation into the previous legislation and “end this savage blood sport once and for all.”
