Hereford suspended from football-related activity by the FA
Hereford were suspended from all football activity by the Football Association yesterday for failing to comply with orders laid down by the Independent Regulatory Commission’s Owners and Directors Test.
Hereford were kicked out of the Conference Premier in June over unpaid football debts and had been confined to the Southern Premier League — the seventh tier of English football.
Club majority shareholder Alan McCarthy was also charged after acting as an officer of Hereford without written confirmation from the FA to do so.
