Chair keen not to flush away £1.5m
Cambridge chair Dave Doggett will use the £1.5 million cash windfall from the Manchester United FA Cup replay on a new set of toilets.
The League One side held United to a 0-0 draw last Friday and will travel to Manchester next Wednesday in an attempt to knock out the 11-time champions.
But instead of using the money to beef up the squad, Doggett will improve the facilities at the Abbey Stadium.
