Toys grabbed from ‘hoarder’ Kreisel in Venezuela
VENEZUELA’S fair price watchdog Sundde announced the seizure at the weekend of 3.8 million toys from major distributor Kreisel, accusing it of hoarding and raising prices.
Sundde head William Contreras promised that the seized goods would be distributed among poor children by local supply committees.
Kreisel had kept the stash of toys in three warehouses in Caracas and Guarenas.
