Facebook shuts down Donald Trump golf ads

FACEBOOK has removed adverts for Donald Trump’s South Ayrshire golf resort as part of its crackdown on “political” advertising.

Three ads promoting a special rate for staying at Turnberry were among over 100 adverts from Trump companies pulled by the social media network, the Scotsman reported.

The US president spent a weekend playing golf at the resort as part of his trip to Britain last year.
