Track and trace 'up and running,' Hancock claims
MATT HANCOCK insisted yesterday that the government’s “track and trace” programme is “up and running” and “successful,” despite reports of multiple technical problems.
The Health Secretary claimed that people being phoned up by contact tracers were “responding positively” when asked to self-isolate.
When asked why contact tracers had reported having “little to do” by journalists during yesterday’s Downing Street press briefing, Mr Hancock claimed that the system was currently running at “over-capacity.”
