THE RMT stepped up its campaign to rescue jobs at Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort today before a consultation on the “brutal” cuts closes this week.

The union is encouraging people to back an online petition against an “all-out assault on jobs and conditions” at the US president’s Scottish flagship resort under cover of the Covid-19 crisis.

The package of measures opposed by the RMT involves the axing of up to 80 jobs alongside cuts to sick pay, working hours, pay enhancements, staff benefits and working conditions.
