Rocket attack in Syria kills at least 10 oil workers

A ROCKET attack in eastern Syria killed at least 10 oil workers today after targeting a bus in the Al-Taym gas field in Deir el-Zour, the government said.

And in the north, Kurdish forces announced that they arrested 52 Isis militants in an operation against the group’s sleeper cells in residential areas and farms.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bus attack, but the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that Isis was likely to be behind it.
