Six in ten girls hear teachers use sexist language, poll finds

SIX in 10 girls have heard teachers use sexist language, an End Violence Against Women (EVAW) study has found.

More than a quarter said they had felt uncomfortable about their body or uniform due to teachers’ comments.

And nearly a third saying they did not feel safe from sexual harassment at school, according to the survey that came out today.
