Over two-thirds of CEOs concerned over human rights in supply chains, research shows

MORE than two-thirds of chief executives at British companies are concerned about human rights and labour rights issues in their supply chains, research has suggested.

According to a survey commissioned by procurement consultancy Proxima, concern is highest in the construction sector and in leisure and hospitality, all at 77 per cent.

Retail, and the food and beverage manufacturing sector, follow at 72 per cent and 70 per cent respectively.
