SOCIALISTS used the Welsh Labour Grassroots (WLG) fringe meeting in Llandudno at the weekend to plan a progressive manifesto for the next Senedd election.

Senedd member Mick Antoniw said an expansion of the Welsh Parliament to 96 members, elected under a proportional system, would provide an opportunity to elect new people.

“WLG is very good at developing and bringing forward good people and with automatic voter registration this will bring an extra 400,000 people onto the electoral register,” Mr Antoniw said.
