UNITED STATES: Sales of the Tesla electric vehicle have fallen to their lowest level in three years, it was reported today.

The 13 per cent drop in the first three months of 2025, compared with the same period of last year, is largely attributed to a backlash against the company’s multibillionaire boss Elon Musk, who is also a top adviser to US President Donald Trump.

INDIA: The parliament passed widely criticised legislation today to amend laws governing Muslim land endowments.
