Leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage has a drink thrown over him as he leaves the Moon and Starfish pub after launching his General Election campaign in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, June 4, 2024

A WOMAN has been spared jail after pleading guilty to assault by beating for throwing a milkshake over Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, doused Mr Farage with the liquid as he left the Moon and Starfish Wetherspoons pub in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, during his general election campaign on June 4.

A witness said the defendant shouted “you f***ing c***” or something similar, deputy senior district judge Tan Ikram told Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
