Trump ditched Iran deal to spite Obama

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump abandoned the Iran nuclear deal to spite his predecessor Barack Obama, a leaked memo suggested today.

Written by Britain’s former ambassador to the US Kim Darroch, the memo described Mr Trump’s decision as an act of “diplomatic vandalism.”

It is the second memo to be leaked this month — the first criticised Mr Trump’s administration describing him as "inept," "insecure" and “incompetent” resulting in Mr Darroch resignation.
