Lebanon complains to UN over Israel's use of its airspace to attack Syria

LEBANON complained to the United Nations today after Israel invaded its airspace to launch missiles at the Syrian capital Damascus.

Syrian state news agency Sana said that Syria’s defences confronted the Israeli planes, while the pro-Syrian government Cham Radio reported air strikes in the Damascus countryside and in the central province of Homs.

Damascus residents reported hearing at least five loud explosions that shook their homes over a 15-minute time span.
