China and Iran sign 25-year strategic co-operation agreement
CHINA and Iran signed a 25-year strategic co-operation agreement at the weekend.
The pact will reduce the impact of crippling US sanctions on the country and follows a sharp deterioration in Sino-US relations.
The deal incorporates Chinese support for Iran’s oil and mining industries as well as help with building transport infrastructure and boosting agricultural trade.
