Unite port engineers secure 7% pay rise
UNITE engineers have overwhelmingly accepted a backdated 7 per cent pay rise.
The 20 Clydeport workers provide crucial repair and maintenance support services for the cranes and workshops owned by the Peel Port Groups on the river Clyde.
Based at the King George V dock in Glasgow and at Greenock Ocean terminal, they ensure that containers, forest products, agribulk, project and bulk cargo can efficiently move on to, and from land to destination markets.
