Sunak humiliated by junior doctor on live radio
A&E doctor hits out at PM's ‘amazing’ claim that striking doctors are to blame for waiting times
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during a visit to St George's hospital in London.

RISHI SUNAK was humiliated by a junior doctor on live radio today after insisting that striking doctors are to blame for record-high NHS waiting lists.

A&E doctor Olivia, who did not give her second name, hit out at his claim and reminded the Prime Minister during a radio phone-in that “a happy workforce is your responsibility.”

Mr Sunak sought to argue that the wave of industrial action by NHS workers was behind the long delays patients are facing before getting treatment.
