WOMEN’S CRICKET: Chamari Athapaththu hit 102 as Sri Lanka beat Scotland by 68 runs to win the Twenty20 World Cup qualifying tournament in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. Chasing 170 to win Scotland reached just 101 with medium pacer Udeshika Prabodhani taking 3-13. MEN’S FOOTBALL: Unbeaten Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen take a 2-0 advantage into the second leg of their Europa League semi-final at home to Roma tomorrow evening. Neither club have won the trophy before although Leverkusen were Uefa Cup winners in 1988. Marseille, led by the tournament’s leading scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyeng, travel to Bergamo to face Atalanta in tonight’s other semi-final with the score level at 1-1.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: With the top six in the Super League all level on points the winners of tonight’s game between Warrington and Hull KR are guaranteed to be the new table-toppers. Hull KR enjoyed a seven try 40-20 win over St Helens on their last outing while Warrington eased past struggling Hull FC 24-6. Current league leaders and reigning champions Wigan aren’t in action until their game at Huddersfield on Saturday.

MEN’S BASKETBALL: Jaylen Brown netted 32 points as Bolton Celtics thumped Cleveland 120-95 in the first leg of their eastern conference semi-final play off. Boston had finished 16 games better than Cleveland during the regular season. In the west Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit 29 points, made nine rebounds and nine assists as conference champions and play-off top seeds Oklahoma City Thunder inflicted a heavy 97-115 defeat on the Dallas Mavericks.
