DARTS: Luke Littler eased past Rob Cross 6-2 in the final to take Thursday night’s Premier League of Darts tournament in Liverpool.

Littler now leads the competition by five points from World champion Luke Humphries with Nathan Aspinall a further point back in third.

Bottom of the table Peter Wright suffered another miserable evening after crashing out 6-3 to Michael van Gerwen in his first match.

WOMEN’S CRICKET: Scotland take on Sri Lanka in their second game of the Twenty20 World Cup qualifying competition in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

The Scots hammered Uganda by 109 runs in their first Group A match while Sri Lanka eased past Thailand by 67 runs.

Ireland, who saw off the United Arab Emirates by six wickets in their first Group B game, are not in action again until Monday when they face Zimbabwe.

WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: Chelsea take a slim 1-0 advantage into tomorrow evening’s second leg of their Champions League semi-final against holders Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

The Catalan giants won 1-0 in London at the same stage of the last year’s competition.

Prior to last week’s defeat Barcelona hadn’t lost a home game since 2019 and also not failed to score in a Champions League home match since 2016.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Solihull Moors, who saw off Halifax 4-2 in their midweek eliminator, travel to Barnet on Saturday evening for the first National League promotion play-off semi-final.

Barnet finished second behind champions and already promoted Chesterfield in the regular season, 10 points ahead of fifth-placed Solihull. Bromley face Altrincham in the second semi-final on Sunday afternoon with the final set for Wembley on May 5.
