DARTS: Michael Smith beat World Champion Luke Humphries 6-3 in the final of Thursday night’s Premier League of Darts in Sheffield and sealed his place at next week’s play-offs in London. BASKETBALL: British basketball’s season comes to a close tomorrow afternoon with both the men’s and women’s play-off finals at the O2 Arena. Regular season champions London Lions, who have won the women’s play-offs for the last three years, take on Newcastle while the London men’s team are defending their crown against Cheshire Phoenix, who defeated the Lions in January’s final of the BBL Trophy.
