MEN’S FOOTBALL: Highland League champions Buckie Thistle have been barred from their play-off with Lowland League counterparts East Kilbride after they failed to gain the Scottish FA’s bronze level licence. The Highlanders failed to meet regulations on floodlighting, diversity and inclusion and a safety officer. East Kilbride will meet either Clyde or Stranraer, who finish their League Two campaigns tomorrow, for a place in the Scottish League.

DARTS: Luke Littler beat Rob Cross 6-4 in Thursday night’s final in Aberdeen to take his second consecutive Premier League of Darts tournament. MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Northampton will become the first English club side to play at Dublin’s Croke Park Gaelic Games stadium when they face last year’s runners up Leinster in their Champions Cup semi final on Saturday. Fourteen people were murdered by British forces at Croke Park in 1920 when they opened fire on the crowd at a Gaelic football match. Toulouse host Harlequins in the second semi-final on Sunday.
