Rangers came from behind to beat Glasgow City 2-1 and move top of the Scottish Women’s Premiership, a point clear of Hibs who were held to a 0-0 draw at Celtic.

Hearts beat Motherwell 2-0, Aberdeen led twice before losing 3-2 at Montrose and Tiree Burchill’s first-half goal sealed Partick Thistle’s 1-0 win at Queen’s Park.

Bottom of the table and already relegated Dundee United lost 1-0 at Spartans.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE:

The top two clash in the Super League as leaders Hull Kingston Rovers take on Hull FC in the first of the Good Friday local derbies.

Hull KR are one point clear of their neighbours, with defending champions Wigan a point further off the pace in third before they host fourth place St Helens.

Leeds meet bottom of the table Huddersfield, who have yet to win a game, at Headingley this evening.

MEN’S BOXING:

42-year-old Sergey Kovalev will make his final ring appearance on Friday evening when he comes up against Artur Mann in front of a home-town crowd in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
