MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: National Conference leaders Hunslet ARLFC were held to a 24-24 draw at Rochdale Mayfield but still top the league by two points from Siddal who romped to a 42-6 win at Thatto Heath.

Third-placed West Hull lost 19-24 to York Acorn, Wath Brow beat of Kells 22-14, Heworth edged to a 24-22 win at bottom club West Bowling and struggling Lock Lane remain winless after going down 40-10 in Egremont.

SPEEDWAY: Belle Vue host bottom of the table King’s Lynn tomorrow evening for the return leg of their Premiership clash.
