Seafarers at Foreland Shipping overwhelmingly reject pay offer

RMT seafarers at Foreland Shipping, which provides strategic sealift services to the Ministry of Defence, overwhelmingly rejected the company’s pay offer in a recent referendum.

Some 85 per cent of members voted against the offer, the union says.

RMT has written to Foreland calling for an urgent meeting with management to resolve the matter and avoid taking steps towards potential strike action.
