French rugby team suspends training ahead of Scotland game
Another player tests positive, with 11 players and three staff now out of Sunday's scheduled match
THE French rugby team suspended training yesterday after another player tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of Sunday’s match against Scotland.
It again throws into doubt whether the Paris match will go ahead, with 11 players having now tested positive as well as three staff members including coach Fabien Galthie.
The French Rugby Federation said the unnamed player tested positive following another round of tests on Wednesday night, prompting its medical committee to suspending training.
