RFL chief Wood to step down after 10 years

NIGEL WOOD is to stand down as chief executive of the Rugby Football League (RFL) this month after 10 years in the role.

Wood, who is also chair of the Rugby League International Federation, has served on the RFL board since 2001.

“I am extremely honoured and privileged to have served as chief executive of the Rugby Football League,” he said.
