KURDISH activists will arrive in Paris today after travelling from London to attend a demonstration in memory of three women killed five years ago.
Kurdistan Workers Party co-founder Sakine Cansiz was among the three found dead at a Kurdish community centre on January 10 2013.
She and Fiden Dogan and Leyla Saylemez had been shot in what was described as “an execution-style killing.”
Turkey’s MIT intelligence service has been accused of involvement, with evidence linking it to the murders included in the original indictment.
Suspect Omer Guney was arrested soon after the murders but died in prison days before his trial was due to begin.
In a statement, Kurdish voluntary group Rojwomen UK demanded justice for “our three revolutionary comrades,” declaring that their movement was “becoming even stronger, despite attempts to destroy it.
"Anybody who is interested in a genuine peaceful and just solution to the war in Kurdistan and Turkey must demand the full investigation of the Paris murders.”
