Just Stop Oil pour orange latex over life-sized robot in Tesla store in London

JUST Stop Oil activists poured orange liquid latex over a life-sized Optimus Prime robot at the Tesla store in London today.

Two activists said “shut down the fascists” after climbing onto a podium display and unfurling a banner.

“While the rich dream of nazi robots and swasti-cars, what the rest of us need is warm housing, clean affordable energy and cheap public transport,” they said, “don’t let billionaires decide your future.”

The action took place after US President Donald Trump bought a Tesla car in support of his billionaire ally Elon Musk’s car company.

The White House driveway briefly became a pop-up showroom, with various models on display.

Tesla stock this week fell to an all-time low, having lost half of its value in three months.

The brand has become the focal point for protest over Mr Musk’s role in cutting government spending as head of the Department of Government Efficiency and his apparent Nazi salute.
