Four in ten registered with a dentist in Scotland have not seen one in two years, figures show
SCOTLAND’S NHS dentistry registration figures were deemed effectively meaningless today after it was revealed that 40 per cent of those registered had not seen a dentist in two years.
New figures show that 39.5 per cent — some 1.8 million adults and 177,318 children — of those registered with a practice had not been to one in 24 months.
More than a quarter of adults — 28.8 per cent — registered with a dentist have not seen one in five years.
